THE BACKGROUND
An avid supporter of the arts, Richard Mille continues to cultivate the potential of local and regional art communities with thought-provoking exhibitions and engaging events which redefine the boundaries of creativity through the lens of contemporary art.
To commemorate the launch of the Richard Mille book, Art in the Gulf and the artists it houses, the brand built upon the momentum set forth by the art book, with a pioneering art exhibition in Riyadh: Art in the Gulf with Faisal Alkheriji, A Richard Mille Immersive Exhibition.
THE IDEA
A beautiful convergence between art and technology, the experience used ground-breaking technology to cultivate a new art form that transformed every visitor into a co-creator of Alkheriji’s artworks.
Through a combination of artificial intelligence and leap motion - an optical hand tracking module that captures the movements of your hands with unparalleled accuracy - guests were able to explore the various facets of Faisal’s artwork, putting them front and centre of the experience.
THE RESULT
An interactive art spectacle and immersive exhibition unlike anything the region has ever seen. Art in the Gulf with Faisal Alkherij brought the pioneering Saudi artist’s work to life, transforming Faisal's talent into performative artworks which evoked awe and wonder in our audience.
Sitting at the cusp of artistry and innovation, the exhibition which took place at HiaHub within the Jax District of Riyadh from 8th to 10th December, curated a space with limitless possibility, sparking pivotal dialogues through the interactions between the spectators and the artworks.
