THE BACKGROUND

To commemorate the iconic partnership between Louis Vuitton & Fifa, we have crafted a digital gaming experience to unite communities, combining elevated luxury with joyful journeys to memorialize the first ever world cup held in the Middle East.

 
 
 

THE IDEA

Bringing back retro playfulness, we have reimaged the well-known Pac-man game into a football fanatics favourite playground. Using Louis Vuitton’s iconic Gaston mascot, users are challenged to avoid the referees as they collect gold coins on the way to capturing the world’s most coveted trophy, the world cup.

 

 

THE EXECUTION

We designed a vibrant and exhilarating game to bridge the gap between the luxury house’s heritage throughout the world cup and new age football fans. Users were able to navigate the field and take control of the pitch on their way to win the ultimate prize. Alongside the iconic Gaston mascot, we designed two referee variations which serve as the obstacles in the game.

To further tease and excite players, we crafted and designed a CGI trailer film to incite anticipation and exhilaration ahead of the game launch, featuring a cheeky Gaston pivoting through the field as he scores and secures the world cup. The gameplay was designed in 8- bit to mimic the arcade like 90’s look of the original Pac man game, a beautiful convergence between past and present.
