THE BACKGROUND

Pepsi has long been known for its ability to illicit inspiration in the community whilst constantly pursuing bold and fresh ideas. By bridging artistic expression and communal love for football, the brand positions itself as the facilitator of cheerful experiences that excite, innovate and unify our youth’s generation. To strengthen the bond with its audience, we created a film that showcases the classic football nutmeg royale, an event depicting enjoyment that highlights communal love for football, a sport that unites us all.

 
 

 

 

THE IDEA

Our film starts with a countdown followed by Pepsi’s iconic blue can opening up to immerse our audience into the world of Pepsi and the thrill evoked by the football nutmeg royal. We then take viewers through a journey of expression, celebrating our international appeal across social media platforms, and bringing those sentiments on the ground with our communal match that takes place in the streets of Saudi. We conclude our film with a celebratory showcase of football stars Farah Jafry, Hussein Abdelghani and Sami Jaber alongside our “stay thirsty for challenges” catchphrase.
